Jim Crow Laws:
The Jim Crow laws were state and local laws in the United States enacted between 1876 and 1965.They mandated de jure racial segregation in all public facilities in Southern states of the former confederacy with, starting in 1890, a "separate but equal" status for African Americans. The separation in practice led to conditions that tended to be inferior to those provided for white americans systematizing a number of economic, educational and social disadvantages. De jure segregation mainly applied to the Southern United States. Northern segregation was generally de facto, with patterns of segregation in housing enforced by covenants, bank lending practices, and job discrimination, including discriminatory union practices for decades.
Segregation:
Racial segregation is the separation of humans into racial groups in daily life. It may apply to activities such as eating in a restaurant, drinking from a water fountain, using a public toilet, attending school, going to the movies, or in the rental or purchase of a home.Segregation itself is defined by the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance as "the act by which a (natural or legal) person separates other persons on the basis of one of the enumerated grounds without an objective and reasonable justification, in conformity with the proposed definition of discrimination. As a result, the voluntary act of separating oneself from other persons on the basis of one of the enumerated grounds does not constitute segregation".
The Great Depression:
The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression n in the decade preceding World War II. The timing of the Great Depression varied across nations, but in most countries it started in 1930 after the passage of the United States' Smoot-Hawley Tariff bill (June 17), and lasted until the late 1930s or middle 1940s.It was the longest, most widespread, and deepest depression of the 20th century. In the 21st century, the Great Depression is commonly used as an example of how far the world's economy can decline. The depression originated in the U.S., after the fall in stock prices that began around September 4, 1929, and became worldwide news with the stock market crash of October 29, 1929 (known as Black Tuesday).

Segregation
segregation, as a general term, included the racial segregation or hypersegregation of facilities, services, and opportunities such as housing, medical care, education, employment, and transportation along racial lines. The expression refers primarily to the legally or socially enforced separation of African Americans from other races, but can more loosely refer to voluntary separation, and also to separation of other racial or ethnic minorities from the majority mainstream society and communities.
The Great Depression
The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the decade preceding World War II. The timing of the Great Depression varied across nations, but in most countries it started in 1930 after the passage of the United States' Smoot-Hawley Tariff bill (June 17), and lasted until the late 1930s or middle 1940s.[1] It was the longest, most widespread, and deepest depression of the 20th century.[2]

Jim Crow Laws: From the 1880s into the 1960s, a majority of American states enforced segregation through "Jim Crow" laws (so called after a black character in minstrel shows). From Delaware to California, and from North Dakota to Texas, many states (and cities, too) could impose legal punishments on people for consorting with members of another race. The most common types of laws forbade intermarriage and ordered business owners and public institutions to keep their black and white clientele separated. Here is a sampling of laws from various states.
Segregation: 1.To separate or isolate from others or from a main body or group. 2. To impose the separation of (a race or class) from the rest of society.
The Great Depression: the economic crisis beginning with the stock market crash in 1929 and continuing through the 1930s. a period during the 1930s when there was a worldwide economic depression and mass unemployent.

Jim Crow Laws :
Jim Crow laws were state and local laws passed from the end of Reconstruction in 1877 through the mid-1950s by which white southerners reasserted their dominance by denying African Americans basic social, economic, and civil rights, such as the right to vote.
Segregation :
Segregation was the state and national law of separating "coloured" people from white people. Those who were oppressed often had much worse facilities, could not visit better establishments of any kind and were not permitted certain rights that others were.
The Great Depression:
Longest and most severe economic depression ever experienced by the Western world. It began in the U.S. soon after the New York Stock Market Crash of 1929 and lasted until about 1939.

Segregation: is the separation of humans into racial groups in daily life. It may apply to activities such as eating in a restaurant, drinking from a water fountain, using a public toilet, attending school, going to the movies, or in the rental or purchase of a home.
The Great Depression:The Great Depression was a severe worldwide economic depression in the decade preceding World War II. The timing of the Great Depression varied across nations, but in most countries it started in 1930 after the passage of the United States' Smoot-Hawley Tariff bill (June 17), and lasted until the late 1930s or middle 1940s. It was the longest, most widespread, and deepest depression of the 20th century.

Jim Crow Laws : It is about a law , Jim Crow was the name of the racial caste system which operated primarily, but not exclusively in southern and border states, between 1877 and the mid-1960s. Jim Crow was more than a series of rigid anti-black laws. It was a way of life. Under Jim Crow, African Americans were relegated to the status of second class citizens. White people discriminate to colored people because of the skin color , negros how whites called then , the couldn’t get job because of their skin colored , also , in that time colored people get a job but the pay then a low price as they white people wants . Segregation
It was also discrimination because they separated black people from white in other room , as waiting room in the hospital or civil registration ,they need to separate whites and blacks . They were separated at schools, theaters, taverns, and other public places. So, Congress quickly responded to these laws in 1866 and seized the initiative in remaking the south. Republicans wanted to ensure that with the remaking the south, freed blacks were made viable members of society. But the strong southern legislatures finally gave in; in 1868 they repealed most of the laws that discriminated against blacks. The great depression

2.Jim Clow Laws—— Jim Crow Laws is talking about state and local laws between 1876 and 1965 in the United States. In 1890, African American separate because they are slave. For example, they don’t have public schools, public places, public transportation, and restaurants. They are very painful during the 1800-1866.
Segregation: The African black peopel came to United Sates during Civil War. They segregated far away from the distriction of the white people. They can not get any money from work because they are slaves. They can not drink the water fountaion, get education, take the buses, and use the resterature and bathroom with the white peole.
The Great Depression: Throught my researching, it could mean that people is rich or poor in countries. It is not good at finace of economy and social that influences some people got unemployment in the countries during great depression.
