1.This story makes me feel strange. Because the speaker thinks his grandfather is a crazy. I don not know why his grandfather does these “stupid” actions. And, why he calls the speaker to his room.
ReplyDelete2.I think S.O.S is the law. It enforces people in the country to do something. And it maybe relate to old people, so the speaker’s grandfather was crazy when he heard that.
3.Grandfather throws the flag away. I become more and more confused because I can not understand his purpose. All of those things make me feel bad with my grandfather. And I also don not want my friends know that I have a grandfather who look likes crazy everyday.

This story makes us feel a little bet confused at the beginning and sad. Because we didn’t understand in the beginning but we discovered that the boy who was speaking , hates his grandfather and he doesn’t like him as he embareses him in fact.

I think the S.O.S is the like an organization of the state who help to the country and the people to keep peace.

The end will be: the boy is going to talk with his grandfather and he is going to relate to his grandson how was his life whe he was young, the boy is going to understand the grandfather’s feelings and they are going to have a good relationship in the future.

This story makes me feel bad because of Arthur who is the author’s great-grandfather he should be a role model of his grandson like all the grandfathers offer to, but he doesn’t. He is just a crazy man he doesn’t even respect the national flag and he never tries to teach his grandson however he always tries to scare his grandson so he is a totally bad grandfather.

I think S.O.S they are police spies they are watching the people who against with government and trying to make them shut up forever.

ReplyDeleteThe story makes me feel sad, because I didn’t like how the guy was talking about his great grandfather. Also, because of the background sound.

S.O.S. was a law of the government of the epoch in which the great grandfather was young. The great grandfather think that that law was the end of life, the great grand father was acting as if he was performing what happened in that law. He looks like if he lost his memory after the law. But, his family don’t like the way in which he act.

-Grand father, why did you put down the flag?
–They are going to come and see me. –What are you talking about? Who are them?
–It doesn’t matter, you won’t understand me son. –Grandfather, why are you crying? Don’t cry anymore. Can I give you a hug? (Grandfather just opened his arms; he needed that hug a lot, maybe more in the past than now).
–Thank you son. (He couldn’t speak so well because of the tears that were falling down his cheek).
–Don’t say thank you, remember that although you say nonsense things I love you.
