1. How does the poem make you feel and why?
ReplyDeleteI felt like I was in the island spending my time with the sounds of wave and cricket. This poem really touched my heart as the poem sound so real and also I love to spend my time with nature.
2. What do you think it's about?
I think the poem is about the peaceful and beautiful nature with different birds and insects singing and dancing in it.
3. What questions do you have for the poet (create three minimum).
• Why would you want to spend your time in such place rather than the place full of facilities?
• Isn’t the sound of cricket irritating?
• Do you like to spend your time alone rather than that with your friends?

ReplyDeleteThe poem makes me feel very confusion, because the way the author is telling the poem and it was hard for me to get the message what it did wan t to say because the words was hard get.
What do you think it's about?
I think this poem is about the author who lives in an isle where he makes his house with wattles in a glade. he explain about the view in the isle and what is happening like he cant hear some natural sound like the water lapping, the sound of the linnet in the trees veils, and the glimmer in his house in the morning.
What questions do you have for the poet (create three minimum)
Did that place is real or you just dream about it in write about it that pace?
Did you go in that place when you’re sad or for vacation, or you live there with your family?
Did you ever thing about living that place to go live somewhere else?

It makes me feel sad because the way that he is talking like his going to die.
What do you think it’s about?
I think it’s about a man that is living in an island surrounding by a lake Innisfree. He lives in the forest in an opening space surrounding by trees in a small house made by woods. Where is he its calm so he s in peace. He’s lonely. In the morning he heard the chirp sound of the crickets and the fog that is hiding everything. In the midnight he sees a light that is not bright and a purple noon appeared. And in the evening he see the feet of the linnet which I s a small bird. He heard the sound when the waves go hit a rock. When he stand on the smooth and hard concrete surface he heard the most important or essential thing.
What questions you have for the poet (create three minimum)
-How did u feel when you write that poem?
-Why do you talk in that way in the poem?? It’s like you were going to die.
-How do you think peeople will feel while reading it?

I felt that this poem is sad because he talks about he wants peace and to be alone.
2. What do you think it’s about?
I think it’s about a man that is tired of the city, that he can’t support more the people that live around him and he wants to escape of it. Also I think he likes the live in the country because he said that he want to build a small cabin by himself. He wants an easier life.

*Why does he want to be alone?
*Why did he say: “And I shall have some peace there” that means that he never was happy with his life?
*Why did he choose the lake isle of Innisfree?

ReplyDeletei like the way you say that the poem make you feel.when you say that you feel that you are in the island i know that an island is peaceful and beatiful by listenning the singing of the birds,hearing the lapping of the waves,breathing the fresh air ... but also when you are alone in an island its easy to forget hw to talk. but i really like to way you expres yourself....
Mr sergino what i liked about your post was that we tought the same, it was difficult to get the message from this poem and i learned, also i liked that you exprees how the author is acting in that moment (what he listen, what he see, etc etc) i agrre with you !

ReplyDeleteWhen I go through the poem I even feel that I am a very free person. I can image a peaceful and queit life and the beautiful natural sights around him. For example,"a small cabin build there, of clay and wattles made ". It makes me calm.
2.What do you think it's about?
I think author want seeks the serenity and tranquility in a peaceful environment. Because he wishes to go back to the simple life . For example "I will arise and go now, and go to Innisfree"

-What does '...and noon a purple glow' mean? Why is purple?
-Why did William Butler Yeats say, "I will arise and go now to Innisfree"?
-I want know something about his childhood.

This poem makes me feel describing a place where I could find peace in my heart.
2. What do you think it’s about?
I think this poem is about the nature. It is a special place where the sound of the water and the fresh airof the forest are giving him peace .This place is beautiful and nice.

How does the poem make you feel and why?
The poem make me calm down from confusion soon.Because the place the author constructs is really quiet ,peaceful, and careless as a fantasy.When I image the place in my mind,I feel all the cells in my body is relaxed.
What do you think it's about?
I think it's about the writer 's dream.In the reality,there is no place like where he dreams.In the big city, what he feels is only crowded and exhausted.In his heart,he really hopes that he can get out of the complicate life.But in fact,he can change nothing.So he gives too much fantasy to construct a desirable place to show his emotions.

What do you like about their post?
Many of their post are interesting and different from mine.Someone says the place the author writes is somewhere he will move.
What did you learn from their post?
A piece of literary work can have many understandings. Everyone can have his or her own thought about it.When we know others' thoughts, we can gain something helpful and amazing to ourselves.

The poem makes me to know about the complex world and the lake isle of Innifree.
And he makes me to struggle from this complex world and end my life with peacefully far from the people.
