Yes, it has. Because of the game “min-go”,I have more chance to talk to others in English.Before this,I never speak in English,because I have many Chinese classmates to talk.

The things that i enjoyed this class marking period were the part that we had to read the poems and then pic a line paraphrase it and stand up in the middle of the hole class but i also enjoyed coming to the computer room and making the blogs. One of the things that i didn't enjoy was the part that we have to be with a partner from that speaks a different native language than me, also the part that we had to take the poem ‘’I Am’’ home and make our own poem. ( Even though mine was FUNNY).

To make the class better for me you should let us be partner with someone that speaks our native language and are from our same country. Also you need to be more patient with students when they miss school and you don't know the reason ;)
Has your English improved since the class began? If yes, how? If no, why not? Please think carefully about this. Yes my English had improved since the class began because before it started there were some words in English that i didn't know how to pronounced and then doing the flashcards helped me.
When and where do you usually do your homework? Well i usually do my homework at home on my desk cause that a quiet time in the living room.

Yes, I think my English has improved a lot since the class began.I am afraid to talk with the classmates and teacher and I speak very quiet.However, the teacher often organize many different kinds of and interesting activities.Then I can improve my speaking and listening. Although I am still afraid to speak with others, I will try my best to overcome the fault.

I think it’s a little difficult to do my homework because some vocabulary are unknown for me and I need to remember these words.Then my sleep time will diminish a little again.

ReplyDeleteAns:- i enjoyed many activities in this class such as “mingle mingle mingle” because from “mingle”,we can get more ideas from others, and we can share our opinions; review flashcard with partner, cocktail party, debate( for and against team), project about my favorite poem “I am”, and wrote a poem about ourselves. I enjoyed this activities because those were the most exciting and funny activities in Ms. Mann’s class.

Ans:- I hope you can give us more time to understand our homework and you can create more activities that help us to improve our skills( speaking, listening, writing, critical thinking). Also you should give us more time to do our projects and less homework so that we can do it nicely and properly.

Ans:- Yes, I think my English has improved a lot more then before. My speaking and writing both skills has improved by our class activities like “Mingle Mingle” and also i got to know lots of new words which i didn’t know.

Ans:- I usually do my homework at my desk and sometimes i do it in my bedroom. Actually i do my homework whenever i need to do and there isn’t any limited or fixed time to do that.

Ans:- No, i don't because if we don’t understand something about homework then you explain it more then one times and you try to make those homework easy for us so that we can do it correctly or easily.

Ans:- Whenever i open my notebook to do my homework or when i feel like I need do see my notes for help, I spend my time to look at it and i try to be organized.

Ans:- I open my notebook and study about all of my class my notes, my class work that we did in the class, my old test paper and my glossary.

Ans:- I think I will do better in next marking period then i am doing right now and I'll do my best to get a high grade.I got 95 in this marking period and I'm going to pay more attention in class and do better to get 100. :)

Ans: I’ll study more, do my homework seriously, taking notes, and i will try to be more creative to do my projects properly. Also,I’ll talk more in English to improve my speaking skill.

I had great time during the 1st marking period. I liked almost everything we did in class, but I really enjoyed doing blogs and reading other people blogs. Also I really enjoyed to come to the center of the class to do “mingle mingle mingle” to talk to different person from different countries

During this first marking period their was one specific things that we did, that I didn’t like which was, like sometimes we come to the center of the class and repeat our favorite line in a poem while everyone is also doing it at the same time and walking around. I thought that was a little bit annoying and boring.

I think we cover everything we had to do.

I would you to give us more time to do our work like ; projects, difficult hw or class activities, because we need time to do good quality work in order to ameliorate our grades.

Oh yes a lot, my English has improved for example I learned new vocabularies that will help me to progress in English. By doing class activities I practiced my speaking a lot now I feel more comfortable speaking to others. By reading articles and poems I have improved many different skills.

No not at all. Mrs. Mann hw are usually easy if you listen to the explications she give in class, and also if you take your time to do it and not doing it in the cafeteria during lunch where you don’t have time and you doing it quick where you don’t pay attention in what you are writing.

Each time I don’t understand how to do something, then I look in my notes.

I don’t I need to improve my class participation because I am always talking and rising my hands in class all the time.

I think it is a good grade, but I know for next marking period I have to improve it, to do so I have to work harder and concentrate in my work.

I usually do my homework at my desk its in my bedroom at night between 7:00 to 10:00 pm.

i think the answer is yes , my listening and speaking are improved in this class across the games .i need listen others opinion,and paraphrase it on my own word.

when i come back home ,i need prepare the dinner,and then i start to do my homework ,and i always do my home work in the table near the kicken.

i don’t think so ,because i’m shy .when i go the new place ,i can’t show myself confidence,i need some time to suit it .now i can talk to other loudly.

ReplyDeleteA: this class enjoy me a lot,first because Ms. Mann always did excellents activities during the all classes and that helped us to enjoy the all classes, also during the all this marking period we did projects : make the essay, correct the essay and also make a draw about the poem ‘’ i am’’. i had fun in this class at the same time i get and i learn a lot information a good special things about alone time to the people....

Yes,my English has improved my speaking and writing both.My speaking improved by our class activities like “Mingle Mingle” and my writing improved by your corrections.Also.i got to know lots of new words which i didn’t know.

I usually do my homework at my desk or at the PC table.Well i do my homework whenever i need to do it.There isn’t any exact time to do that.
